Write your first community post

A post is easier to answer when it explains what you are working on and where you need input. Give the community a concrete place to begin. Start in the community feed Open the post composer. If you add a title, make it specific to the topic. Write your message in the body and choose a relevant category when one is available. For an introduction, tell people what brought you to this community and one thing you want to learn. For a question, explain what you have tried and the point where you need help. Do not include passwords, account codes, or information another person has not agreed to share. Add useful context The composer supports images and YouTube links. Add an image when it shows the detail you want people to discuss. A post can include up to four images. Use a poll when you want members to choose between defined options; polls support two to six options. Read your post once before publishing. Check the category and make sure the main question is easy to find. The title allows up to 120 characters and the body allows up to 5,000 characters. Keep follow-up context with the original post so someone arriving later can understand the conversation.
